Predawn, Nymph Lake
| This image of Nymph Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado, was
taken about 10 minutes before its mate, Golden Light, Nymph Lake. The
photograph was taken before the sun had cleared the mountains behind me.
Sunlight has crossed over the horizon and bathed the mountainside in early
morning pink light and is reflected in the lake. The lake is also covered
with lily pads and fallen diagonal logs. Fallen logs can be seen under the
water surface. Hallett Peak can be seen at the right in the back of the
image. |
